MAIN SPEAKER: JUDGE MANUEL BARBOSA
Judge Manuel Barbosa is a retired judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois. He was appointed for a fourteen year term on March 23, 1998. From 1980 to 1998 Barbosa was Chairman for the Illinois Human Rights Commission. He is also the author of “The Littlest Wetback: From Undocumented Child to Federal Judge.”
Judge Barbosa attended Illinois Benedictine for his Bachelors Degree in 1969 and John Marshall Law School in 1977 for his Juris Doctor.
